Tess participated in the Rhythmic Gymnastic training camp in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in August 2013

Tess won a Sliver medal in her category in the competition. And some of the activities Tess enjoyed during her visit included fishing, driving, shooting, hunting and all types of riding - hose, camel and motor bike. She also lived with nomadic families and learnt theire customs and traditions.

Alexander Palace 150 years celebration 21 July 2013‏


Gymnasts from both of our squads performed in a Rhythmic Gymnastics Display at the Alexander Palace 150 year celebrations on 21 July 2013.  The gymnasts demonstrated their talent and performed well even in the high temperatures.  The Display was very well attended by the local community and helped to raise awareness of rhythmic gymnastics.

Bath Open Championships 13 and 14 July 2014, Sports Training Village, University of Bath‏

The Bath Open this year was its largest ever.  Over the week-end, nearly 300 gymnasts competed from 17 different clubs across the country. The competition included novice, intermediate and elite gymnasts. LAGAD peformed well and took home medals in the categories in which its gymnasts participated.

Success at 2013 British Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships


The Rhythmic British Championships is most prestigious event on the Rhythmic national calendar. The competition includes the categories for under 11s, under 12s, juniors, senior and disability gymnasts. There is an All-Around Final as well as Individual Apparatus Finals.

LAGAD’s Rhythmic team achieved excellent results at the 2013 Championships held in Stoke-on-Trent from 21 to 23 June.  


Anna won bronze in the Junior All Round Final, silver in the Ball, Club and Hoop Apparatus Finals


Amaranta won silver in the under 12 All Round Final, gold in the Free, Hoop and Ball and silver in the Rope Apparatus Finals.


Chiara won gold in the under 11 All Round Final, silver in the Hoop and bronze in the Free Apparatus Finals


Jessica won bronze in the under 11 All Round Final, silver in the Rope and Ball finals and bronze in the Free and Hoop Apparatus Finals.

English Championship 2013

Rhythmic gymnastics English Championships held in Birmingham 9th June 2013.

Jessica (U11): Hoop Gold

Amaranta(U12): Free GOLD, Rope GOLD, Hoop SILVER, Ball BRONZE and Overall SILVER

Alexia and Alice has successfully competed with gymnasts 2 years older and gained good experience!




2nd June 2013:  London 1st  Four Seasons Tournament  (Spring)

LAGAD RG took part in Four Season Spring ball competition.

Gymnasts showed well prepared and clean routines.

25th May 2013: Torino in Italy


Members of our Junior Squad were fortunate to compete in the 3rd International Tournament run by Eurogymnica Torino in Turin, Italy on 25 May 2013.  Eurogymnica Torino is one the largest rhythmic gymnastics clubs in Italy.   The tournament is open to Italian and European clubs and was attended by the top clubs from all over Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, Estonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and UK (LAGAD). It was an excellent experience for the girls to compete with top level gymnasts and enjoy the great hospitality of the Italian hosts.  




March 2013: Zone A Grading

Each year regions across the country join together to hold their qualifcations or the National Finals.

Zone A covers 3 Regions: London, the Source East, and the South.

There were 49 Gymnasts competing in total.

31 of these were from 5 London clubs.

8 of these gymnasts were from our very own LAGAD RG.
